Details: Product Description Grandpa Beck's Scheming and Skulking is a dynamic and challenging card game that's fun for the whole family. This pirate theme.valued card game is an epic battle of bids for 2 - 6 players. You'll need to scheme as you plan your bid and your strategy. Skulking helps you achieve your goal. High or low cards can win - it's all in how you bid and how you play your hand. Yo-ho-ho, will you bid high or will you bid low? Beware - the Tigress is a trickster, and the Skull King always wins the trick. Grandpa Beck says Scheming and Skulking just might be his favorite game so far.The origins of Scheming and Skulking go back to the 1800's and a game called Whist, which was the most popular game of its era. There are four suits of fourteen cards. The twelve additional, special cards, that are in this game make it the interesting and ultimate card game that it is. This is a "trick taking" game. Each turn, each player plays one card. The highest, or the most powerful card played, wins. This is called taking a trick. The key to Scheming and Skulking is to win the exact number of tricks that you bid. If you get your bid, you score points. If you take more or less tricks than you bid, you lose points. Bidding occurs before each hand is played. Bids are made simultaneously which creates additional drama. There may be more or less bids made than the number of cards dealt, and that adds an interesting twist. The dynamics of the game changes each hand as the number of cards dealt increases from one in the first hand to ten in the last hand. You can play with 2-6 players. This variable also changes the dynamics of the game as more or less cards are in play. Bidding zero is the gutsy option for those who want to win big or come from behind. It can be difficult to escape winning any tricks during a hand. However, the reward of making your zero bid can change the game as can the punishment if you don't! Bidding zero is a surefire way to get your fe Box Contains game
